Missional Vision

In His word, God laid out the perfect vision for missions.  Using Acts 1:8 as our outline, we believe that missions can be done no matter where you are or what day of the week it is.  We are told to go to Jerusalem, which is where we are living life; we are living missional lives that glorify God.  Then, we are told to Judea and Samaria, which expands our location to the state and the nation.  Finally, we are instructed to go to the ends of the earth.  This is the part where we go overseas.  At Canyon Country Church, we are living missional lives locally and abroad because that's where there are people who need to know about the love of Jesus.

In order to accomplish this goal, we have several ways that we are living missionally and going to the nations so that we may accomplish the Great Commission.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a faith-based program that collects gifts to take to children all around the world. Through this outreach, children receive toys, clothing, school supplies, and personal hygiene products packaged in shoebox sized gift boxes. Each child who receives a box is also taught the word of God and many children are lead to, and surrender their hearts to Jesus.

We are getting ready to pack shoeboxes!

This month we send the shoeboxes off to be delivered!
